General Public Jackie is a nickname generated from attending Bellevue Village Board meetings since 2012.

During Public Comment, the chairperson would ask, Is there anyone from the public that would like to speak?... Jackie? calling me by name, as many times I was the sole member of the general public gallery. Soon, it became an affectionate pre-meeting greeting to hear Welcome general public Jackie, and the moniker stuck.

This website is filled with photos, videos, blog posts, and resources, to connect Village of Bellevue residents, and the interested General Public, to information, to create community connections, and to spotlight municipal topics.
